With a blink of an eye we went from December to April! It has been very crazy around here at Ashvale. On a whim, I decided to try and campaign Fredrik (Ashvale Sweet Child O' Mine) to a Regional Kitten Win in CFA. This has involved us showing heavily in the US the past few months. We have gone from Ohio, Maryland and all the way down to Arkansas! He finished his CFA Kitten career sitting currently 14th in the Region. With just a few weeks left we hope he stays in the top 25!

We have also been busy campaigning Fredrik & Flashy (Ashvale Ride The Lightning) in CCA. So far Fredrik has made top 3 Best of the Best each show day! They have just 3 show days left to hopefully lock in a Canadian National Award!

Autumn has been taken off our "show team" for now. We have let her and Pascal go on a date so we are hoping for some kittens in the near future! It is going to be busy around here for the next few months, so make sure to follow us on Facebook for the most up to date news!

December 23, 2024

We officially have our first CFA Grand Champion! After a season of showing, Autumn got the 200pts required for this title. We are so excited to have a cat in our program with this title. She also recieved a best cat at the Laval CCA show and is now a Master Grand Champion! She just needs one more best cat to get her Supreme!

All the kittens from the Metallica litter are now spoken for. After much deliberation, we decided to release Belle from our breeding program. Timing is not quite right yet to retain a female. We are now on a bit of a break until February when out CCA shows start up again. Until then, Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from all of us at Ashvale Maine Coons!

 

November 2, 2024

Things have been a little crazier around here lately, hence the late update! We have had 8 beautiful kittens running around the house for 12 weeks now. All have amazing homes lined up except for Casanova and will begin to leave next month. It will be very bittersweet that is for sure! If interested in Casanova, please check out our Kittens Page!

We also have welcomed a new breeding female to our house. She comes from the beloved lines of our Joy Joy! We are happy to add Wildwater Aquaria of Ashvale to our breeding program!

Early October we also took Icy & Autumn to get their heart echos done. We are happy to announce both passed with flying colours! We look forward to having kittens from them in 2025.

Ashvale has also been busy showing all around Canada & the USA. Luxxxy has achieved his Supreme Master Grand Primer title in the CCA! Autumn also has been holding her own in some large Championship classes. She is very close to her CFA Grand Champion title. We hope one or two more shows will get her to achieve it.

It has been a busy few months around here at Ashvale! We welcomed an unplanned new alter to our house, Luxor Bellamoondo! He is a full brother to Pascal, just a year older! "Luxxxy" is a sweet boy and we cannot wait to campaign him once his coat comes in. 

In July we had the honor of attending the CCA-AFC National Awards banquet in Whitby. We picked up all the beautiful National awards from last years show season. The end of September we will recieved our regional awards!

We also now have KITTENS! August 7th, Icy gave birth to a beautiful litter of "Cubes". We have 8 kittens (7 Boys & 1 Girl) with a mix of brown & silver classic tabbies! Inquiries are invited on the little ones, however, they will not be reserved until they are over 8 weeks old. Othwerwise, we have been busy out showing!
